As part of the existing property we were asked to design a new poolside sitting and dining pavilion to replace a previous smaller space on the same site.
The main volume was constructed out of local Coralstone with teak joinery and was furnished to allow both informal family use and provide a suitable venue for the more formal entertaining that the family enjoys.
The relatively simple classical spaces rely on the quality of the detailing for their effect. To achieve this, marble paving and a sculpted fountain were commissioned in Italy and lighting and furniture were sourced throughout the world.
The principal façade of the house was reconstructed to create a more fitting arrival point adjacent to the swimming pool.
